Summary: In this study 3D Computer Simulation is used, with the application of an
Educational Module for the teaching of Vector kinematics in a private school,
located in Cobilândia, Vila Velha, Espírito Santo, with a total of 26 students from
the first grade of high school. developed in the second half of 2016. This teaching
unit was elaborated based on the visualization of models and processes
proposed by Gilbert. The instruments used for data analysis in the Instructional
Material were: the questionnaires, Technological Educational Partner conducted
by the students, the previous knowledge, the augmented reality application, the
car, the cannon, the movement of a projectile, the final questionnaire and the
evaluation of Instructional Material. For data analysis a qualitative approach of
the activities was adopted. The qualitative analysis of the activities of the previous
and final questionnaire showed an improvement in students' performance in the
teaching of vector kinematics through the applications of 3D computational
simulations. The results obtained in the questionnaires of evaluation of
Instructional Material indicated that the use of computational tools is an adequate
proposal for the study of Vectors. This tool dynamically illustrates the phenomena
that were discussed in Instructional Material allowing for a better understanding
of the concept addressed in Instructional Material.
